DETROIT -

Rain is moving in!  In fact, some light showers are already showing up west and north of Metro Detroit.

Expect rain showers to get going around 9 or 10am, lasting through the afternoon and early evening.

Cloudy skies will produce between ½ inch to ¾ inch of rain with a few spots getting even a bit more fresh rain today. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s and the winds will be blowing hard at times SW 10-20 mph with stronger gusts.

Other than a few sprinkles on Thursday, we will dry out and cool off. Look for a mix of sun and clouds becoming mostly cloudy with highs only in the upper 40s.

Cool breezes will once again be blowing, but with a bit more of a bite.

West winds 10-20 mph will make it feel cooler all day and may blow in a few lake enhances showers.

Our computer model shows a few light snow showers showing up late Thursday. We’ll see.
