DETROIT -

Wednesday morning will have patchy fog with temperatures in the low 50s.

Once the fog disappears, the sun will shine and a warm air mass from the west will push afternoon temperatures in the upper 70s. Areas far enough inland will be near 80.

This is summer-like weather for the Detroit Tigers and their fans in the game against the Twins starting at 1:08pm.

Wednesday night will be fair and cool with lows in the 50s.

More sun returns Thursday with a high of 75 degrees. A weak front will cool the air for Friday and the weekend. Friday's daytime temps will be closer to 70 degrees. Saturday and Sunday will have highs in the 60s with a chance of showers by Sunday.
