Thunderstorms rolling in Wednesday

Mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid to low 60s

DETROIT –   A line of thunderstorms is racing through SE Michigan this Wednesday morning. Expect a handful of thunder rumbles and a quick downpour as you wake up.

An approaching warm front from the south will help spread clouds over Metro Detroit keeping our skies mostly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 60s. Winds E 5-12 mph and a chance for a few afternoon and evening rain and thundershowers.

Thursday will be a bit warmer with highs hitting 75° to near 80°. We will see scattered rain and thunder early in the morning Thursday but again, it will be a much warmer day. Partly to mostly sunny skies for most of tomorrow with winds from the South 7-12 mph gusting near 20 mph at times.

We will likely see more rain and thunder in the area throughout your Friday with a cool front sweeping through. This will be our best chance for more widespread rain and thunder over the area for the rest of the week.
