The Excessive Heat Warning remains for the rest of our Friday daylight hours. That means heat indices will once again be in the triple digits making it a health danger to many people and pets. Highs today around 94 degrees will feel like 100 to 105 degrees and gusty winds SW 10-25 mph with stronger gusts.

The heat comes to a violent end with the chance for severe weather into the evening. We will see scattered pop up storms with gushing rains and lightning this afternoon and evening, but the stronger storms will likely be later in the evening. Winds may hit 60-70 mph and hail 1” in diameter possible with these storms.
