Sunny skies to fill Metro Detroit Thursday

DETROIT -

Mostly sunny skies will reign on Thursday as highs reach to near 80 degrees with a west wind 6 to 12 mph.

Thursday night will have wonderful sleeping weather again and lows in the 40s.

Friday will not be warm, but it will be bright and seasonable. Highs will be near 70 degrees.

A stationary front will play tag with Southeast Michigan this weekend.

This will mean partly to mostly sunny skies. If the front gets closer, it would mean showers.

However, all indications are for a dry weekend and pleasant conditions for every in pink at Race For The Cure at Comerica Park Saturday morning. Daytime temps will be in the mid 70s Saturday and near 80 Sunday.
