Spring returns Thursday following brief hiatus

Highs in the upper 60s

DETROIT – Spring is returning today as highs cruise into the upper 60s with sunshine as we head through your afternoon.

Winds will be picking up later today W 5-15 mph gusting over 20 mph occasionally.

A weak cool front will move over SE Lower Michigan early Friday bringing some early morning showers tomorrow. Most of day will be dry and the sunshine again will come streaming back. That weak cool front keeps temps in the mid 60s with mostly sunny skies tomorrow afternoon with cool breezes NW 5-15 mph with slightly stronger gusts.

The Holiday Weekend starts great with sun and 70 degrees Saturday. And, most of Sunday will be dry heating into the low to mid 70s. But, scattered storms move in by the evening Sunday.

Memorial Day ahead around Metro Detroit will be warm near 80 degrees but we will be dodging some rain and thundershowers. In fact, most of next week looks warm and stormy all around SE Lower Michigan.
