Light snow continues during Metro Detroit rush hour

Another round of snow hits Wednesday

DETROIT – Our Winter Weather Advisory has expired and snow showers are tapering off.

Still, light snow and blowing snow will cause issues through 3 p.m. and then just a few flurries into the evening. Temps are hovering in the mid 20s with gusty winds making it feel like single digits and teens. The evening commute will be messy even though fresh snow will not be an issue so, expect delays.

Skies clear out a bit tonight and lows drop into the low single digits early tomorrow.

There will be a windy, chilly start to Thursday with subzero "feels like" conditions and icy roads. Be careful and make sure everyone is dressing in layers. Yes, we're getting used to it but don't underestimate these Arctic Blasts as the come in behind the snow.

Highs in the mid to upper teens Thursday with a few light midday snow showers. Winds WSW 10-20 mph at times will keep wind chills near or below zero most of the day.

It will be cold Friday too with lows near zero degrees and highs only in the low teens. But, we'll have cold sunshine mixed with a few clouds.

A weak snow maker will move in Saturday afternoon bringing a fresh 1-2 inches of snow. Follow those wind chills and all the weather coming your way on radar right here on clickondetroit.com.
