Showers leave for now, clouds remain

Lows in the 60s

DETROIT – There are a ton of late summer events in Detroit and Southeast Michigan. People will have their choice of raising money to cure breast cancer, going to baseball games, watching NASCAR live, celebrating African culture, admiring classic cars and hot rods and so much more. Showers are in the forecast, but the Saturday and Sunday will not be wash-outs.

Saturday night will be drier with mostly cloudy skies and lows in the low and middle 60s.

Sunday will have a chance of scattered showers and storms, too. Highs will be in the middle and upper 70s. Again, there will be times for outdoor events to occur with dry conditions. The Local4Casters app is an excellent tool for tracking any additional wet weather.

A low pressure system will try to form over the Great Lakes early next week. This means clouds will hang around with temperatures in the middle 70s Monday and Tuesday. Waves of light and moderate showers are possible, again.
