Wet weather lasts through work week in Metro Detroit

DETROIT – After last week's historic floods, more wet weather returned to Detroit and southeast Michigan on Tuesday. The wet weather will last, at least, through the work-week.

Overnight lows will be in the middle and upper 60s, and it will remain muggy. Air conditioners will need to be put back into practice.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will have a repeat of the same type of weather with the swirl of low pressure parking itself over Michigan.

Each day will feel summer-like with warmth and humidity. Morning and night-time lows will be in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs will be near or above 80 degrees.

Each day will have scattered afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain at times.
