DETROIT – A stormy morning across all of SE Michigan with quick, heavy downpours and lots of lightning.
This line of storms produced severe weather in the Grand Rapids area just after midnight, so we can't rule a few strong storm cells out.
But, right now the threat for severe weather appears to be south into Ohio and Indiana as we head through this Monday morning into the afternoon.
We will have wet roads with some hydroplaning concerns early today and the possibility of some power outages with all the morning lightning.
We may see a few random showers and storms through the mid morning into the lunch hour, but the weather will be improving into the afternoon.
We'll see some sunshine mixed with hazy clouds as highs hit the low to mid 80s with plenty of humidity today. Winds will be breezy from the west 10-15 mph gusting over 20 mph at times.
Tomorrow looks very similar with a round of showers and storms in the mid to late morning through the midday tomorrow.
But, most of the day should be dry through the afternoon other than a few scattered showers with highs in the low 80s.

In western Michigan, authorities said a severe thunderstorm caused significant damage to homes in a central Michigan town and injured several people.
The National Weather Service said a strong thunderstorm intensified late Sunday over Kentwood, just south of Grand Rapids.
The Weather Service office has received reports of numerous downed trees and a couple of buildings at least partially collapsed.
Kent County Emergency Manager Jack Stewart tells WOOD-TV that six people sustained injuries, though the severity of those injuries was unknown.
Flash flood warnings are in effect for a number of central Michigan counties through the late morning.
The Weather Service had received reports of flooding in Alma, in Gratiot County, with 6-8 inches of standing water reported in one spot.
