Mild start with possible showers Tuesday

DETROIT – A cooler start with temps down in the 50s to low 60s as you head out and about on this Tuesday morning with plenty of sunshine early today.

But, clouds do fill in, especially north of M 59 into The Thumb.

Those areas have the better chances for a scattered rain and/or thundershower this afternoon.

Winds will be breezy SW turning WNW 7-17 mph gusting a bit stronger from time to time.

We cannot rule out an isolated shower around the near Detroit suburbs mainly between 1-4pm. Cooler air will start to filter in tonight.

Temps tomorrow through the end of the work week will be in the 60s and 70s with very limited rain moving in.

We may see 80 degrees by Friday or Saturday so let's enjoy a little of Mother Nature's air conditioning midweek.

We will likely see some lows dipping down into the 50s as highs will stay in the mid 70s Wednesday through Friday.

It's early… but it looks like SE Lower Michigan and Southern Ontario will see a few scattered showers both Saturday and Sunday as temps try to warm back into the low 80s.
