DETROIT -

More humid air sneaks into the Detroit area Sunday night with lows in the 60s. By Monday morning, hazy skies will envelope more of Southeast Michigan to start the work-week.

Sunshine follows the Motor City area Monday afternoon, and it will be hotter. Daytime highs will be near 90 degrees. Muggier weather returns, too, and with this comes the chance of evening and nighttime showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday will be another scorcher with highs near 90 with showers and storms possible. Some showers may linger Wednesday. More comfortable air arrives Thursday and Friday with drier weather and daytime temps in the middle and low 80s.
