Memorial Day weekend forecast

Nice weather on tap

DETROIT – It's comfortably cool out there this morning with most Detroit suburbs falling down into the low and mid 40s.

A few clouds hanging around have kept some areas from getting too cool, but either way it's nice out there!

Grab the sunglasses this morning for the commute as clouds will fill in through the late morning through the afternoon.

Partly sunny this Friday afternoon as highs will reach near 70° with winds NW 5-15 mph.

The higher breezes will be in the morning and a bit lighter this afternoon.

Great weather for the Tiger game tonight and any area activities outdoors.

Grab a light jacket but temps will likely stay in the 60s through the evening.

The weekend looks dry and warmer with tons of sunshine.

Saturday sunshine will bring highs into the low and mid 70s and we should duplicate that forecast Sunday.

Right now, Memorial Day will include a few showers.

Models have been split on rain chances, but the most recent data suggests a chance of scattered rain and thundershowers late in the day as highs get to near 80° on Memorial Day.

Hopefully we'll get through the trip to the pool and the late afternoon BBQ before the rain moves in.
