Mostly sunny to start our Friday (TGIF!), then becoming partly cloudy and breezy during the afternoon. I've had to modify the Friday afternoon forecast a bit, as today's computer models are speeding up the timing of a weak cold front that will cross our area. Earlier in the week, the models had the front coming through dry during the overnight hours. Yesterday, the models moved up the timing to early evening, and today the timing appears to be late afternoon. The front coming through during the peak heating time of day now necessitates my adding scattered thunderstorms to the forecast -- generally between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Many more of you won't see a storm than will, however, like yesterday, one or two could become briefly strong. Highs in the upper 80s (30° Celsius). West winds at 15 to 20 mph. Friday's sunrise is at 6:25 AM, and Friday's sunset is at 8:54 PM.

Mostly clear Friday night, with lows in the low to mid 60s. Note: Friday night's full moon is our second full moon of the month (the first one was on the 2nd), which makes it a "Blue Moon!" That's as good a reason as any to have a party, so invite some people over and fire up the grill!

Mostly sunny on Saturday -- another great weekend day for the pool or whatever outdoor activities you have planned! Highs in the mid 80s.

Mostly clear Saturday night, with lows in the mid 60s.

Partly cloudy on Sunday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The models are not in agreement on the evolution of the weak disturbance that will trigger Sunday's weather, so I can't get specific on the timing just yet (although I don't think it'll rain all day). Highs in the low 80s.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday night, with lows in the mid 60s.

A period of showers and thunderstorms are likely on Monday, with highs in the low 80s.

Partly cloudy Monday night, with lows in the upper 50s. Ahhhh ... that'll feel great.

Partly cloudy on Tuesday, with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Mostly clear Tuesday night, with lows in the mid to upper 50s.

Then mostly sunny on Wednesday and Thursday, with highs in the mid 70s, and overnight lows still in the 50s.
