DETROIT – It certainly was a cold start to our Friday, with many locations outside of the Detroit Heat Island dropping below zero.
And Metro Airport dropped to 0°, which broke the old record low of 2° set way back in 1901. However, this is likely our last sub-zero weather of the season, and we now can look forward to some much anticipated (and needed) warmer weather!

Clouds will increase tonight, with lows in the upper teens being set late this evening, as temperatures rise into the low to mid 20s by dawn. Southwest wind at 8 to 13 mph.
