Forecast: Storms diminish this evening in metro Detroit

Hot weather is still on the horizon

DETROIT – Scattered showers and thunderstorms will diminish this evening, and I think the remainder of the night should be mostly dry.

Lows in the mid 60s, with a light and variable wind. If skies clear at all overnight, then some fog will develop.

As you know by now, when it comes to weekends, I'm a professional: I'll keep an eye on this and update you through the week. Highs Saturday in the mid 80s.
