Forecast: Rainy stretch of days ahead in metro Detroit

Cool temperatures will dominate, too

DETROIT – Any lingering thunderstorms should end this evening, and the second half of the night will be dry.

Lows will be in the low 50s. Southwest wind shifting to the northwest as a cold front crosses the area.

Wednesday should start dry, but rain will develop during the afternoon. Much cooler, with highs near 60. Northeast wind developing at 10 to 15 mph. Rain continues Wednesday night, with lows in the low 40s.

Partly cloudy Saturday with a chance of light afternoon showers. Highs in the mid 50s. Partly cloudy Saturday night, with lows in the upper 30s.

Partly cloudy on Sunday, with highs in the low 60s. Becoming mostly clear Sunday night, with lows in the low 40s.

Mostly sunny both Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the mid 60s Monday and upper 60s on Tuesday.
