Temps steady or slowly rising into the low to mid 40s by morning. Southwest wind at 15 to 20 mph.

Friday forecast:

Scattered light showers through about lunchtime on Friday, with breaks in the overcast developing by mid to late afternoon. Near steady temperatures in the mid 40s. SW wind shifting to the NW as a cold front swings through, at 10 to 20 mph. Partly cloudy early, then increasing clouds. Lows in the upper 20s.

Weekend forecast:

There's still the chance for some light snow Saturday, but I don't expect much of an impact at this point. Highs in the upper 30s. Gradual clearing Saturday night. Lows in the low 20s.

Mostly sunny on Sunday -- a great spring day with highs near 48. Becoming partly cloudy Sunday night. Lows in the low 30s.

Opening Day forecast:

Opening Day now looks spectacular! Expect mostly sunny skies, with mid-morning temps in the 40s, first pitch temps in the low 50s, and highs in the upper 50s! Go Tigers! A chance of showers later Monday night. Lows in the upper 30s.

Rain ends midday Tuesday, with a few wet snowflakes possible. Highs in the mid 40s.

Partly cloudy on Wednesday, with highs near 40, then we have another chance for rain on Thursday, with highs in the mid 40s.
