Forecast: Rain, rain won't go away in metro Detroit

Wet stretch of days ahead

DETROIT – Rain will increase through the night, with temps not dropping much -- perhaps only into the low to mid 50s. Northeast wind at 10-15 mph.

Rain and even a few thunderstorms will dominate Thursday morning, so plan on a wet morning rush hour...and you know what that means: wet rush hours are slow rush hours. Rain will gradually diminish during the afternoon and, with a bit of luck, we might even see a peek of sun by late afternoon or early evening. Highs in upper 50s to near 60. Southwest to west wind at 10 to 20 mph. Partly cloudy Thursday night, with lows in the upper 30s.
