DETROIT – It's a gorgeous spring day today with blue sky and high clouds keeping us dry.
It's a bit cooler today with highs climbing only into the upper 40s and low 50s. But, the winds are light and the ballgame is dry this afternoon at Comerica Park.

There is very active weather well to our south into the Plains, and we will see occasional bouts of wet weather starting late tonight. A few light rain showers arrive well after dinner and as more moisture moves into our cooling air, we may see some patchy rain and freezing rain early Thursday.
Some of our friends and family north of M-59 may get into a light wintry mix into the Thumb Region. We need to be on the lookout for light rain, light snow, and patchy ice early tomorrow and hope that most of us see just plain rain. Overnight temps are dropping into the mid 30s and each degree counts.
Thursday's Tigers game could be delayed at times with more rain chances moving in around 2 p.m. Either way, it will be colder and breezy, so you'll need to bundle up with the rain gear just in case. Highs Thursday will only see low to mid 40s with winds NE 10-20 mph.
We can expect another wave of rain and thunder on Friday morning and then on and off throughout the day. So again, the afternoon Tigers game will see some rain. You can expect to feel warmer air with breezy south winds at 10-20 mph, boosting temps into the low and mid 50s. We may even see some isolated thundershowers in the area with the approach of a warm front.
Saturday may begin with a light rain shower or few wet before we start to dry out for the weekend. Saturday highs will be in the upper 40s with breezy conditions and Sunday looks like the better of the two weekend days back into the low 50s. We will let you know if there are any shifts in the forecast.
