DETROIT -

Mostly cloudy skies  are clearing out early this morning and we will all be drying out today.

With mostly sunny skies this Thursday afternoon, expect comfortable high temps in the low to mid 70s with winds NE 5-10 mph. Lows overnight into early Friday will drop into the upper 40s to low and mid 50s. That’s good sleeping weather!

Friday will be another beauty with slightly warmer temperatures hitting the upper 70s. Cloud cover may be a bit more noticeable as mostly sunny skies turn partly sunny into the afternoon tomorrow. Winds off of the Big Lakes will enhance cloud development, but we will not have any rain concerns. In fact, we will be dry through the weekend.

We have a good chance of hitting 80° both Saturday and Sunday with plenty of weekend sunshine. An early look into next week shows several days of rain and thundershowers starting Monday.
