Chilly Sunday evening across metro Detroit

Temps will remain above freezing

DETROIT – Sunday evening will become mostly cloudy with temperatures in the 40s. Aaron Lewis fans will need to prepare for chillier weather traveling to and from Motor City Casino.

Sunday night will be cloudy with a few rain showers rotating in from the north. Temps will remain above freezing. Overnight lows will be near 40°F in Detroit and in the upper 30s in the suburbs.

Monday morning will have some left over light rain. The afternoon will be drier with a mix of clouds and sun and cool conditions. Highs will be in the middle and upper 50s.

Sunnier skies return for the rest of the week with warmer air arriving. Highs will be in the low and middle 60s Tuesday and Wednesday. The mercury will rise to near 70°F by the end of the week.
