DETROIT -

Sunday morning will have some brief, scattered rain showers in the pre-dawn hours. Temps will start in the 50s. Clouds will hang around after breakfast after the rain leaves. It will be dry for the Focus Hope Walk in Detroit. Just bring a jacket and a cheerful attitude with your fellow marchers and Local 4 News Meteorologist Andrew Humphrey, who will be your host.

Anyone headed to Cleveland for football game with the Detroit Lions against the Browns will be following the showers. So grid iron fans will need to be careful on wet conditions on I-75 south, I-280 and the Ohio Turnpike.

Sunday afternoon in Detroit will have highs in the upper 60s with slightly sunnier skies.

Game 2 of baseball's ALCS in Boston will have clear skies, but it will be chilly with evening temps falling from the 50s to the 40s. However, the Detroit Tigers are used to that kind of weather.

Sunday evening in Detroit will be fair and cool with temps falling from the 60s to the 50s.

Sunday night will be mostly clear and chilly with overnight lows in the 40s.

Columbus Day, Monday, will be sunnier and cooler with highs near 65.

Playoff baseball comes back to Detroit with the Red Sox taking on the Tigers at Comerica Park Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday's 4pm game will be dry and delightful with temps in the 60s for the first pitch. Wednesday and Thursday have a chance of rain with daytime highs in the 60s and evening temps in the 50s. Tigers fans will have their best Tigers jackets and hats and will be ready to roar.
