Saturday evening is looking beautiful across Detroit and Southeast Michigan. Families with dinner plans, thinking of ice skated at Campus Martius in downtown Detroit or going to the Pistons game against the Dallas Mavericks will have dry conditions for driving. However, continued thawing will reveal more potholes that are tougher to see after sunset. Temperatures will fall from the 30s into the 20s by midnight.
Saturday night will be colder with lows near 20 degrees under fair skies.
Sunday will be cold and dry with partly sunny skies and highs near 25 degrees. Families may need to wear an extra layer when going outdoors.
Monday will go from mostly sunny to partly sunny as it remains cold with morning lows in the low teens and afternoon highs in the low 20s. Monday night will be cloudy with snow that will last into Tuesday. The snow is part of a cold front that will plunge Southeast Michigan in the Arctic chill again the rest of next week.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will have highs in the teens and lows in the single digits.
