Brandon Roux has your metro Detroit weekend forecast

Saturday looks nice, warm while Sunday could be wet

DETROIT – Friday morning clouds cleared and sunshine dominates most of the day.

We'll see patchy high clouds but temps are warming into the low and mid 60s. A little cooler than the 70s yesterday but without the gusty winds. Winds today calm to SW 5-10 mph.

Saturday looks nice and warm with highs at least in the mid to upper 60s with partly cloudy skies. The latest model data is bringing in rain to the Thumb Region by mid to late afternoon tomorrow, mainly north of I-69. If the clouds hold off or stay thin enough, we may see 70 degrees on Saturday.

We will see scattered rain and thunder showers around metro Detroit starting tomorrow evening, lingering into your Sunday. If you can, download the free Local4Casters app on your smart phone to take the radar with you as you're out and about this weekend.

Sunday showers and storms will be on and off. And, those showers are part of a stronger cold front bringing much cooler air into Metro Detroit early next week. Sunday highs, even with rain around, will be into the mid 60.

Our forecast data is keeping rain and possibly a few wet snowflakes in the mix both Monday and early Tuesday. We don't expect much snow but won't be surprised if Parts of SE Michigan receive a coating of snow early next week. Get your entire 7 Day on clickondetroit.com and on the
