DETROIT – Another warm, summer day ahead. We will see a good amount of sunshine with calm winds and temperatures heating up to 86F as our high.
But this will literally be the calm before the storm.
A cold front will move through Metro Detroit on Tuesday bringing rain and scattered thunderstorms in the morning, with a chance of severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 80s.
Temperatures dip down to the 70s mid-week, with another chance of storms returning Thursday.
We bounce back to the 80s on Friday and will stay there through the weekend.
