Heavy snow squalls are coming to an end across Metro Detroit but the snow was blinding at times and sticking to the roads.
Side streets and highways will stay slick through Sunday morning as temps will bottom out between 10 and 15 degrees. Snow squalls change to light snow showers through the evening and overnight and wind chills will be near zero by morning.
The Thumb region is under a Winter Weather Advisory through Saturday Evening for a few inches of fresh snow enhanced by winds coming off of Lake Huron.
Sunday will be cool everywhere with highs only in the low to mid 20s. We will see a mix of sun and clouds with wind chills in the teens through the afternoon.
Monday looks cloudy, breezy, and warmer with highs climbing into the upper 30s. Rain will move in Monday Night and then change into snow again Tuesday. To follow your weather roller coaster with radar and the 7 Day Forecast, click on the weather tab of clickondetroit.com.
