Second and University will remain open, while Third and Fourth will be closed to traffic.

SLIDESHOW: Rochester's Main Street gets makeover

Pedestrian crossings will only be available at Second and University.

Sidewalks will continue to be open, and access from the alleys will be maintained for convenient access for our customers.

This phase of construction will be completed by late July.

The Main Street Makeover is a joint effort of the Michigan Department of Transportation(MDOT), the City of Rochester and the Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA). The purpose of the project is to reconstruct Main Street from the Clinton River Bridge to the Paint Creek Bridge, improve water service to the area and to add street scape improvements to enhance the overall downtown experience.
