Patchy light freezing drizzle will become light freezing rain overnight creating more ice especially north of Detroit.

The Advisory covers Oakland, Macomb, Lapeer, St. Clair, and Sanilac Counties until 2 a.m.

We will see icy roads mainly along and north of M 59 into the early morning so we could see some school delays.

Morning temps around Metro Detroit will be warmer than freezing with a few lingering light rain showers.

Cool air will swing in through the afternoon dropping temps and bringing a few snow showers. But don’t get too excited because it’s been too warm and wet for anything to stick around.
