Spring begins at 7:02am ET, Wednesday, but it will still feel like the middle of Winter in Detroit and Southeast Michigan. Morning temps will be in the low 20s with blustery winds and wind chills in the low teens and single digits.

Snow showers will blossom mid-morning and afternoon with highs only in the upper 20s, over 15 degrees lower than average. Wind speeds will remain high at 15 to 25 mph to keep wind chills in the teens at most.

Wednesday night will have snow showers with lows in the low 20s again.

Thursday will be mostly cloudy, cold and windy again with snow showers and highs in the low 30s.

Friday and the weekend will have sunnier skies with higher temps. Although temps will rise to 40 degrees or slightly more, it will remain chillier than average.
