Joshua Bisnar says he rescued four orphaned rabbits while stationed at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, Calif.
Bisnar had no idea how to raise wild rabbits, but that didn't stop him from bringing them into his barracks.
Bisnar says he fed the bunnies a probiotic mix for kittens mixed with warm water until they could eat solid food.
Feedings for the rabbits were scheduled during work breaks and in the middle of the night, Bisnar says.
After two months of care, the rabbits were big enough to jump out of their cardboard box, Bisnar says.
