Detroit -

Teddy Purcell's goal at 3:51 of overtime gave the Tampa Bay Lightning a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night.

It's the Red Wings' 5th straight loss at home, their second straight loss in overtime.

Ryan Malone and Steven Stamkos also scored for Tampa Bay, which got its first win over Detroit since Jan. 12, 1994. Ben Bishop stopped 25 shots.

Henrik Zetterberg scored both goals for Detroit. Jimmy Howard made 31 saves.

Purcell got his fifth goal, from the slot, after a turnover by Kyle Quincey behind the Detroit net.

Zetterberg tied the game with 4:12 left in the third on a slap shot from the right circle for his second of the game and 10th goal of the season.

This is the longest home winless streak since the 1996-1997 season.

Red Wings welcome the Jets to the Joe on Tuesday.
