The game was tied at three going into the 6th inning, but then the floodgates opened.

Thanks to four Phillies errors, three walks and a grand slam by Jhonny Peralta, the Tigers scored eight runs in the inning to make it 11-3.

The Tigers tied the game the inning before on three singles.

In all, the Tigers had 13 hits against five Philadelphia pitchers.

Rick Porcello (8-6) gets the win. He pitched six innings, allowed seven hits, three runs. He struck out three.

Miguel Cabrera was ejected from the game in the 3rd inning by home plate umpire Chad Fairchild for arguing balls and strikes. He was followed by Jim Leyland, who was tossed for arguing the ejection.

Tigers have an off-day Monday, then Washington Nationals come to Comerica Park Tuesday night.
