Detroit -

The Tigers are looking for another win against the Indians as they get ready to play in game two of the series.

Both teams will battle Saturday at Comerica Park, at 7:08 p.m.

Miguel Cabrera was pulled from his second-straight game with abdominal soreness but the Tigers still found a way to beat the Indians 7-2 Friday.

Tigers manager Jim Leyland said he checked with Cabrera on Friday and said the third baseman was ready to play. Cabrera only had one at-bat. He was pulled after two innings.

Cabrera left Thursday's game after hurting his abdomen while making an awkward slide in the fifth inning.

The Tigers broke a 1-1 tie in the 3rd inning with an Austin Jackson RBI single. Victor Martinez brought in two runs with an RBI double. Alex Avila completed the Tigers's four-run inning when he grounded into a fielder's choice.

Rick Porcello pitched five-plus innings. He allowed five hits and two runs. He struck out three.

The game was called after seven innings due to weather.

Tigers now have a 7.5 game lead on the Indians.
