Tickets on sale Monday for Detroit-Toronto alumni games

DETROIT -

Tickets for the alumni games between the Detroit Red Wings and the Toronto Maple Leafs are now on sale.

The alumni doubleheader is Dec. 31 at Comerica Park, the home of baseball's Detroit Tigers. It's part of a series of games leading up to the NHL's Winter Classic on Jan. 1 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor featuring the Red Wings and the Maple Leafs.

Each ticket is good for both games of the New Year’s Eve doubleheader (1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.) and provides free access to the Coke Zero Fan Zone in the parking lots just outside Comerica Park. Tickets can be purchased at DetroitRedWings.com/2014WinterClassic or by calling 313-471-7575.
