Detroit Red Wings center Joakim Andersson (18) of Sweden is congratulated by teammates after scoring during the first period of an NHL hockey game against the Toronto Maple Leafs in Detroit, Friday, Sept. 27, 2013.

DETROIT -

Daniel Alfredsson was one of five Red Wings who scored Friday night in the second to last preseason game on the schedule.

Alfredsson has missed the last four games with a sore groin. Friday night, he scored on the power play in the 3rd period to make the score 4-2. Detroit went on to beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2.

It was one of three power play goals for the Wings.

Henrik Zetterberg scored with the man advantage in the second period for the game-winning goal. Johan Franzen capped the Wings scoring in the 3rd period with the 3rd power play goal.

Joakim Andersson opened up the scoring in the first period with his second goal of the preseason.

The Red Wings are now 2-4-0 this preseason with one more game remaining at Toronto Saturday night.

The Wings open up the regular season Oct. 2 when they welcome the Buffalo Sabres to the Joe.
