PLYMOUTH, Mich. -

The Plymouth Whalers are seeking billet families for the upcoming season.

The Whalers players range in ages from 15 to 20 going on 21 and stay with families in the area.

Families interested in becoming billet parents can go to www.plymouthwhalers.com and fill out a Billet Application Form on the front page. That gets the process started.

Whalers Assistant General Joe Stefan will contact you.

Since all high-school aged players attend the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park, the Whalers prefer families who live in Plymouth, Canton Township, Northville and Novi.

Dan and Sue Stechschulte (pictured above) are billet parents. The Whalers have showcased them in this story all about the billet family life.

Reminder: The Whalers alumni game is 4 p.m. Saturday.

Details: Whalers season begins with alumni game this weekend
