DETROIT – The Detroit Pistons have acquired 29-year-old forward Anthony Tolliver from the Phoenix Suns in exchange for 22-year-old forward Tony Mitchell.

Tolliver is a 6-foot-8 power forward who was undrafted out of Creighton. Since 2007 he has become a bit of a journeyman with stints in San Antonio, Portland, Golden State, Minnesota, Atlanta and Charlotte. He signed a two-year, $6 million contract with Phoenix this past summer.
Mitchell is a 2013 Pistons draft pick (2nd round, 37th overall). He has been playing for the Pistons' NBA Development League affiliate Grand Rapids Drive. He's also 6-foot-8 and played college ball at North Texas.
