Manchester United, Real Madrid to play in Ann Arbor

DETROIT – Are you ready for some soccer?

According to WorldSoccerTalk.com, international soccer powerhouses Manchester United and Real Madrid will be making the trip to Ann Arbor this summer as a part of the 2014 International Champions Cup. Per the report, the game is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 2. Stops also include Chicago, Denver, Miami and Dallas.

The game could be played at Michigan Stadium, presumably, but the report did not indicate the venue.

This is the second year of the International Champions Cup, held by the Champions League, where some of the best European teams compete in matches around the U.S.
