Lions fans take to Twitter to react to Jim Caldwell hiring

DETROIT -

The Detroit Lions have a new head coach. It was announced today Jim Caldwell would take over the reigns as Lions head coach.

The Lions are giving Caldwell another chance to be an NFL head coach. He helped the Indianapolis Colts play in the Super Bowl after his debut season in 2009 and was fired two years later after a 2-14 season while Peyton Manning was injured, dropping his three-year mark to 26-22.

Lions fans took to social media to talk about the hiring. The news seemed to be greeted with mixed emotions. Check out some of the tweets below.
