The Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins meet Saturday afternoon for Game 5 of their opening round playoff series.

Boston leads the best-of-seven series 3-1.

1st period:

2:23 -- Justin Abdelkader gets called for head butting against Milan Lucic, Bruins power play for 2 minutes.

3:27 -- BOSTON GOAL -- Loui Eriksson from Dougie Hamilton and Tuukka Rask. Bruins lead 1-0.

4:26 -- Shawn Thornton gets called for hi-sticking against Brian Lashoff, Red Wings power play for 2 minutes.

8:00 -- Shots are 6-3 Boston. The Bruins are the ones on the attack at the start of Game 5.

16:30 -- Shots are 10-6 in favor of the Bruins.

17:12 -- David Krejci gets called for tripping against Brendan Smith, Red Wings power play for 2 minutes.

The period ends with the Bruins leading 1-0 and outshooting Detroit 11-8.

2nd period:
