Tigers' Cabrera not MVP worthy?
ESPN's Keith Law says Tigers' Miguel Cabrera is not on his American League Most Valuable Player Ballot but two other Tigers are.
Law says Cabrera is the third best player on the Tigers. In his top five, Justin Verlander is number three and Austin Jackson is number four. His number one spot is taken by Angels rookie phenom Mike Trout. Number two is Yankees' Robinson Cano. Last on his list and fresh off a perfect game, Seattle's Felix Hernandez.
Law, however, does give credit to Cabrera's offense as he is one of the leaders in the American league with a .327 batting average, 30 HR's and 103 RBI's.
Law says it's his defense that hurts him. Caberea has 10 errors at third base so far this season. In 2011, Cabrera had 13 errors total.
