NY Times Michigan mistake
DETROIT -

According to the New York Times Monday sports issue, the Michigan "Spartans" beat Florida on Sunday, 79-59, and are headed to their first Final Four in 20 years.

Yes, that's what a siderail headline reads on the issue: "In the South, All Spartans." The caption is correct. Nik Stauskas did help cut down the nets after his team's victory, but the Michigan State Spartans were nowhere to be seen. It was all Wolverines on Sunday.

Of course, it might be one of the biggest mascot mix-ups one could make. An honest mistake? Probably, but not one taken lightly by salivating sports fans.
