Bob spent nine years playing on numerous professional tours around the United States as well as participating in the PGA Tour Qualifying School. After living in Florida and visiting some of the most respected golf academies, Bob saw the need for a world class instruction in the Metro Detroit area.

In 2008, Bob founded the Bob Krause Golf Academy in Western Oakland County in order to provide the people of Metro Detroit the opportunity to experience the difference between taking a lesson and receiving customized golf instruction. Due to a steady increase in popularity, Bob opened a second academy in summer of 2009 located at Fieldstone Golf Course (Auburn Hills, MI).  In addition, he maintains a year round clientele at the all weather Pure Impact Golf Studio in Commerce Twp.  This Spring, Bob will be launching his Elite Junior Academy which will be based out of Fieldstone Golf Course.

In addition to instruction, Bob is the teaching professional for the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital Foundation and donates his time to their Champion of Children’s Hearts Golf Weekend every year.

Bob is proud to be endorsed PGA veteran Vijay Singh.  It is his ability to communicate clearly and simplify instruction along with his knowledge of the swing that has attracted all levels of golfers and professional athletes.  Bob’s goal is to promote a professional but fun atmosphere to teach and learn the game of golf.  He treats every customer with the highest level of respect and understanding regardless of skill level.

“My goal is always to teach every student with great respect and make my students better players, helping them understand how to reach their maximum potential," Krause says. "I understand how to compete and what it takes to improve at all levels of the game from beginner to the PGA Tour Professional."

When you receive instruction from Bob you will see and feel his passion for improving all his students in the game of golf.
