PooPrints tracks DNA from dog doo

If you’ve ever wanted to find out who the irresponsible pet owner is that is leaving behind dog doo in your neighborhood, you now can.

PooPrints is a company that partners up with apartment/condo management to log all of the pets to track down who left behind the mess.

How it works

PooPrints swabs the cheek of dogs and enters the information into the DNA World Pet Registry. If a dog pile is left behind, it can be sent in to the company for testing to ID who the culprit was.

The company has clients in 33 states and countries like Canada, Singapore and Israel. It says all of its clients have reported a decline in dog doo being left behind when owners know they could be found out.
