DETROIT -

Help has poured in for a pup who is in need of special orthopedic equipment because of her malformed front legs.

Victory, a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix was dropped off to the Friends of the Dearborn Animal Shelter earlier this month.

She gets around on her hind legs because she doesn't have front paws.

Elaine Greene, executive director of Friends of the Dearborn Animal Shelter, said it will cost around $2,000 to get the equipment specialty made for Victory.

Local 4 aired the plea for help to cover the costs this week.

Greene said donations came in from all over the country and beyond.

She said they have enough money to get Victory what she needs plus more to help other animals like her.

The shelter is still taking donations on their website: Hope's Heroes
