Pet lovers know that owning a dog or cat can be expensive, especially if they get sick.

But for some simple problems, you may already have a simple solution in your home right now.

To prevent dehydration, Prevention Magazine recommends using Pedialyte – it helps dog quickly replace lost electrolytes.

To get rid of fleas, try dish washing liquid. It’s a non-toxic way to kill fleas.

If your dog spends a lot of time outside, they’re at risk of sunburn too. So, coat their noses, ears and other exposed parts with baby sunscreen.

If you dog suffers from dandruff, crush some aspirin and mix it with some baby shampoo, lather up your dog and let it sit for five minutes.
