It was a win-win situation for Pam Prindle of West Bloomfield and Beaumont Children's Hospital.
Prindle was the at-home Wheel Watcher winner last December and got to pick a Miracle Network children's hospital of her choice to win $71,200. She chose Beaumont Children's Hospital because she said they saved her life and the life of her baby and she wanted to return the favor.
Local 4's Vice-President and General Manager Marla Drutz was on hand for the check presentation and was thrilled to point out that because of Prindle's generosity so many children would benefit.
"The whole community wins when these kinds of forces come together. And what's so great about this is it's such a positive, wonderful story," said Drutz.
