Police have confirmed a woman whose body was found in Terry Lake in Pontiac Sunday morning had been strangled.

Police have confirmed a woman whose body was found in Terry Lake in Pontiac Sunday morning had been strangled.

The woman has been identified as 32-year-old Rosaline Lee-Ransom of Pontiac.

People who live nearby told police they saw a white van parked in the area around 10 p.m. Saturday night.

The van, a 2001 Dodge Caravan, was found Monday morning -- but no one is in custody.
