Warren sets up pothole hotline

Drivers urged to report damaging potholes in Warren

WARREN, Mich. – City leaders in Warren are trying to help drivers avoid damaging potholes.

From sun up to sun down crews have been out patching potholes. Mayor Jim Fouts has created a special hotline for drivers to call about the potholes.

Warren pothole hotline: 586-574-4584

"They just need to give their name, phone number and address and specifically where the pothole is," said Fouts.

Crews get dispatched right out to the spot. They will pack the hole with as much asphalt as they can.

"It's good for a temporary (fix) but it doesn't last very long," said Debbie Hayes, a Warren driver. "You can't do anything permanent until the warmer weather so at least they're trying."

Until it warms up, drivers will have to keep dodging.

"I worry about the cops pulling me over for being intoxicated, you know, because you're weaving to miss them," joked Hayes.
